went shooting with my dad

Yesterday we went target shooting with my parents. My dad was shoot with a shotgun, in a hunting accident, a few years before I was born. Gun safety has always been a big part of my growing up. We are passing on the ideas and the reasoning to my kids. The idea that guns are NOT TOYS, might be used for PROTECTION, and CAN KILL people. Among other things. We also pass on the idea that target shooting can be FUN.
